Larry Linthacum, PhD
Dr. Larry Linthacum is the President and CEO of Special Olympics Missouri. He is responsible for leading and managing 42 staff members statewide, developing and implementing strategic plans, and managing a large budget. He previously was the Superintendent of the Jefferson City Public Schools for seven years and has other administrative and teaching experience in other schools around the state of Missouri.
Dr. Linchacum received his bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He then completed his Masters in Education and his Educational Specialist at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. He received his Doctor of Education Leadership Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri.
