Mark Levine, MD


Dr. Mark Levine is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and is also the Emergency Medicine Course Director at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He started his career as an Emergency Medicine Technician-Basic. He graduated from New York University School of Medicine in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Levine completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the MetroHealth Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic program in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as a Flight Physician for Metro Life Flight. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He was the former Medical Director of the St. Louis Fire Department and now serves as the Assistant Medical Director.

Dr. Levine has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally on emergency medicine and pre-hospital medicine. He has also edited a textbook on Emergency Medicine and is a reviewer for EMS World Magazine.

Dr. Levine has received numerous honors and awards, including being honored as an inaugural fellow in the Academy of Educators, and being name Clinical Teacher of the Year eight times in the past eighteen years.
