Caressa Dunphy, MSN, RDN, LDN


Ms. Caressa R. Dunphy is a Registered Dietitian within Samaritan Health Services in Newport, Oregon, where she provides nutrition care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Her work includes medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patients with complex medical needs. She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Dietetics from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon, where she has been accepted into a doctoral program in nutrition. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetic Nutrition from Oregon State University, where she minored in Chemistry and Exercise Physiology

Ms. Dunphy has a particular interest in celiac disease and gluten-related disorders, an area in which she focuses on improving recognition, education, and practical management strategies. Prior to entering the field of nutrition, Caressa served in the military. This experience continues to shape and inform her leadership style, professionalism, and ability to perform effectively in high-responsibility environments.
