Amy Spizuoco, DO, FAAD, FAOCD
Dr. Amy Spizuoco has been practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, as well as dermatopathology, in Manhattan, New York, for 15 years. Dr. Spizuoco is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, New York. She did her undergraduate training at SUNY Binghamton in Binghamton, New York, majoring in Italian and Biology. She then attended medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. After medical school, she completed her Dermatology residency at LECOM/Alta Dermatology in Alta, Arizona. During that time, she studied skin cancer surgery and pediatric dermatology at Phoenix Children's Hospital and attended Dermatology Grand Rounds at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Amy Spizuoco is board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Spizuoco is the past President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. She is also on the editorial board of Practical Dermatology and Dermatology Times. In addition, she is a member of the Noah Derm Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Society of Dermatopathology, the American Society of Mohs Surgeons, the Women's Dermatologic Society, and more. She has received numerous awards, including being named a Fellow of Distinction by the AOCD in 2024, and she was named to Castle Connolly's Top Doctors list in New York multiple times between 2017–2023. In 2018, she made their Exceptional Women in Medicine list. She also received the On-Time Doctor Award in 2019.
