Marie Cadwell Meyer, DO, FAAFP


Dr. Marie Cadwell Meyer was born and raised in Richland, Washington. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before she joined the inaugural class of Pacific Northwest University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2012. Dr. Cadwell Meyer then completed her family medicine residency as a founding member of the first graduating class of MultiCare East Pierce Family Medicine in Puyallup, WA.

Dr. Cadwell Meyer practiced full spectrum family medicine with a physician-owned private practice and as a core faculty member at residency clinic. She also served on the PNWU Board of Trustees before joining PNWU’s Clinical Education Leadership Team in her current position as Assistant Dean of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor of Family Medicine.

Her professional academic interests include organizational leadership and design, professional communication strategies, and intergenerational teaming. Her medical interests include maternity care, newborn and pediatric care, procedural competence, data-informed decision making and physician wellbeing. 

Dr. Cadwell Meyer lives in Richland, WA with her husband, two children and adorable dog.
