The Missouri Osteopathic Annual Convention is sponsored by the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) and the William L. Wetzel Osteopathic Foundation. This is an in-person event held at the Old Kinderhook Resort in Camdenton, Missouri, from April 24 to April 25, 2026.

AOA Grievance Policy:
All grievances should be in writing and should specify the nature of the grievance. Dr. Katie Davenport-Kabonic is a graduate of AT Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) in Kirksville, Missouri. In 2012, she was selected as a MAOPS Wetzel Scholar. Dr. Davenport-Kabonic completed her Family Medicine residency and Obstetrics fellowship at CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency in Springfield, Missouri. She currently serves CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency as a Family Physician and is the SWMO AHED - Springfield Director of Student Medical Education. Dr. Davenport-Kabonic is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
Dr. Davenport-Kabonic has completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training and Level 1 Warriors At Ease trauma-informed yoga teacher training. She is the Lead Physician for the Springfield Walk With a Doc chapter and is an active member of the MAOPS Education and Convention Committee and ATSU-KCOM Curriculum Committee.
Dr. Davenport-Kabonic is married to Dr. Michael Kabonic, and they have two children, Evelyn and Oliver. Her interests include yoga, meditation, nature, living room dance parties with her children, whole food/plant-based cooking, photography, and movies & books involving fantasy fiction, science fiction, and mystery.

Dr. Lucore graduated from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Des Moines, Iowa, in 2008, where she earned a dual degree, Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine and a Master's degree in Public Health. Dr. Lucore completed her residency in 2011 with the Cox Health Family Medicine Program in Springfield, Missouri, emphasizing full-scope surgical obstetrics. She also helped start an OMT clinic at the residency clinic. Dr. Lucore is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Lucore was previously a board member of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS). She is still a very active member of MAOPS and is currently the Ozark District liaison.
Dr. Lucore has been with Cox Health Monett working in the Family Practice and Obstetrics clinic for the past ten years and is currently serving as Chief of Staff. This role has allowed her to lead the strategic planning committee for the newly opened hospital and clinic in Monett, a merging of three family medicine clinics. Dr. Lucore was voted "Best Pediatrician" in 2020 by the local newspaper. Dr. Lucore enjoys the broad spectrum of family medicine, caring for mothers and newborns to elder end-of-life care. She also welcomes the opportunity to host medical students and residents.
Like most healthcare workers, she finds the quest to balance home and work life challenging and essential and is most successful when she is fully present. When she is not navigating virtual education with her two children, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her family, practicing Spanish, and eating delicious food.

Dr. Megan McBride was most recently a General Pediatrician at Mercy Clinic Pediatrics-Fenton in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her bachelor's in Biology with a minor in Philosophy from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, which is now known as Kansas City University – College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCU-COM). Dr. McBride completed her residency in Pediatrics at Children's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She is board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. McBride is a Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) past Wetzel Scholar and has been very involved in MAOPS. She has served as the chair of the Women Physician's Committee and is a Trustee. Dr. McBride is also the President of the St. Louis Osteopathic Association of Physicians and Surgeons. She has also served Kansas City University as Past President of the Alumni Association, and she was previously on the Board of Trustees from 2009-2013. She was also the Vice Chair of the Board and served on several committees.
Her professional interests include lifestyle medicine. She has been a preceptor for the Cardinal Glennon Residency Primary Care Clinic and the St. Louis Children's Community Outpatient Practice Experience (COPE) program. She is also very involved in her community and has served in numerous roles to help out the local schools and sports teams.

Dr. Heidi Miller is the Chief Medical Officer of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). She provides clinical and strategic input to all divisions of the DHSS while fortifying public health policies and programming across the state. Unifying and optimizing the integration of public health, population health, and healthcare delivery efforts have been her highest priorities. Focus areas include workforce development, graduate medical education, maternal health, access to care, state standing orders, public education, and emerging health issues.
Dr. Miller has maintained her primary care practice at a Federally Qualified Health Center called Family Care Health Centers in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Miller received her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut in 1994. Dr. Miller then graduated from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2000. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine Primary Care at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Miller is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Miller has served as the Medical Director of the St. Louis Regional Health Commission and the St. Louis Integrated Health Network. Her honors include the Health Care Champion Award by Missouri Health Care for All, St. Louis 40 under 40, and inaugural induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Miller has devoted her career to supporting policies that foster holistic, integrated, team-based, equitable, trauma-informed, continuous, cost-effective, and compassionate care for our most disenfranchised patients while improving the public health of Missourians overall.

Dr. David Tannehill is the Chief Medical Officer for Mercy Hospital Washington in Washington, Missouri. He is a 1998 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a 2005 graduate of A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Tannehill completed his Internal Medicine residency and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at St. Louis University – St. John’s Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Tannehill is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Neurocritical Care Medicine by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties. He is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Emergency Neurologic Life Support.
Dr. Tannehill is a past President of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons (MAOPS). He has been a member of the Missouri Board of Professional Registration for the Healing Arts. Dr. Tannehill has won multiple awards for teaching excellence at Mercy Clinic and Mercy Virtual. He was integral in developing Mercy’s Sepsis Program. He was named the Physician of the Year by MAOPS in 2019 and 2021. He also received the President’s Award from MAOPS in 2014 and is a past MAOPS Wetzel Scholar.

Ines Voellinger is a healthcare futurist, AI strategist, and digital transformation leader with a unique cross-industry background bridging advanced AI implementation in the Automotive Sector with cutting-edge innovation in healthcare. She is the founder of IV.ai Solutions, a United States-based educational initiative focused on increasing AI literacy and supporting ethical technology adoption in clinical environments.
Over the past 15 years, Ines has led enterprise-scale digital transformation and AI programs at Volkswagen Group of America, while simultaneously building thought leadership in healthcare through research, mentoring, and public speaking. She holds certificates from Stanford University in AI in Healthcare and Digital Transformation, and was selected for the Harvard Leadership Program as a Top 30 talent within the North American region.
Ines has spoken at major events, including the Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association Conference and Reuters Digital Health. She collaborates with providers and academic partners to explore responsible, human-first AI in medicine, particularly for primary care and preventative applications.
Her work is driven by a personal passion to transform healthcare into a more proactive, digitally empowered system and one that prioritizes both patient care and physician well-being, and global networks such as the VR/AR Association Healthcare Group to explore responsible, human-first AI and immersive technologies in medicine.
