Andrew Todd, DO


Dr. Todd is the owner and chief executive officer of the Byrdstown Medical Center PLLC in Byrdstown, Tennessee, where he practices infectious diseases and internal medicine. Dr. Todd received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, Tennessee, in 2003. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, West Virginia, in 2008. Dr. Todd completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 2011, where he was Chief Resident and received the Resident Award for Excellence in Geriatric Medicine in 2010. Dr. Todd completed an Infectious Diseases fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tennessee, in 2013.

Dr. Todd’s academic interests include antibiotic stewardship, infection control and prevention, system-based quality improvement, and vaccine efficacy in HIV-positive patients. He is a member of several professional associations, including the Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.
