Dr. Mindy Hansen is triple board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine and in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. Dr. Hansen currently practices at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She also has teaching responsibilities with the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Hansen received her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Hansen completed her residency in Family Medicine & Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She was named the Resident of the Year by the American Academy in 2019. Dr. Hansen completed her fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Hansen spent almost 15 years training athletes of all ages, genders, and competitive levels. She has an enthusiastic curiosity both in and out of the clinic. Dr. Hansen enjoys exploring the globe locally and internationally in her free time.
