This Pain Management Package includes three programs, and they each offer a unique update on a variety of pain management topics. These program titles include Pain Management - Different types of Pain & the Latest Medications and Techniques, Pain Management - Safe Prescribing Practices, and Mind Body Medicine for Pain. 

Accreditation Statements:
This program is co-sponsored by the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) and the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon (OPSO). Both osteopathic associations are accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

The program has been designated for a maximum of 3 AOA Category 1-A Credit(s) by the co-sponsors who have authorized the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons to report CME and specialty credits to the AOA commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.  

The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Grievance Policy:

Sarah Davis, DO's Profile

Dr. Sarah Davis graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan, in 2004. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at St. John Oakland Hospital (now Ascension Macomb-Oakland) in Madison Heights, Michigan. She served as Chief Resident and was named Resident of the Year in 2007. After completing her residency, she joined a family medicine/athletic medicine practice in Novi, Michigan. She practiced there for two years and then moved to Denver, Colorado, where she continued to practice family medicine with the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group. In 2011, Dr. Davis embarked on her integrative medicine journey by enrolling in the Integrative Medicine distance learning fellowship program founded by Dr. Andrew Weil at the Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. In 2017, she completed the Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Plus One Residency at LECOM Health Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. While completing this residency, she discovered her passion for teaching. 

Dr. Davis is currently an Associate Dean of Osteopathic Integration and an Associate Professor of Osteopathic Principles and Practice at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine in Meridian, Idaho. She is also an Affiliate Faculty member for the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise, Idaho. Dr. Davis is board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, in Family Medicine & Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, in Integrative Medicine by the American Board of Integrative Medicine, and in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.  

Dr. Davis is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Family Physicians, and the Idaho Medical Association. She received the ICOM SCOPE Award in 2023. She has served on various committees and held leadership positions in various professional associations and societies.  

Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with loved ones, cooking, fitness activities, downhill skiing, self-development, meditation, and mind-body medicine during her free time.

Jesse Michael Hatgis, DO's Profile

Dr. Hatgis is an osteopathic pain management, physical medicine, and rehabilitation physician. He is the President and Medical Director of Interventional Spine Specialists of Florida and Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants. Dr. Hatgis received his bachelor of science and neuroscience at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He then received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, New York. He completed his traditional rotating internship, his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and his fellowship in Pain Management at Nova Southeastern University/Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida. Dr. Hatgis is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Management by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. 

As an interventional pain physician, Dr. Hatgis utilizes a variety of advanced therapies including, but not limited to, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, kyphoplasty, endoscopic rhizotomy, endoscopic/microdiscectomy, tumor ablation, radiofrequency ablation, interspinous process device placement, facet joint stabilization, sacroiliac joint fusion, minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD procedure), stellate ganglion blocks, nerve blocks, joint injections, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Hatgis has given countless lectures and taught many workshops for medical students, residents, fellows, and attending physicians. 

Dr. Hatgis is a heavily involved member of the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOCPMR), where he previously held the positions of Course Director for the 2017 Mid-Year Meeting and Scientific Seminar and Resident Council President and Vice President. He previously served as a member of the Pain Medicine Committee, Education Committee, and Member Needs Assessment Task Force. Dr. Hatgis is also an oral board examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOBPMR). 

Dr. Hatgis has authored and peer-reviewed numerous publications in various medical literature resources, specifically on sacral insufficiency and vertebral compression fractures, vertebral augmentation, original uses of Cortoss cement, Baastrup’s disease, percutaneous cervical discectomies, cauda equina syndrome, and innovative techniques for the usage of intraspinal radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis, facet cysts, and interspinous cysts. He previously served as a principal investigator for a study conducted by Abbott’s neuromodulation division. Dr. Hatgis also serves as a consultant for multiple medical device companies.

Miranda Reed-Cleaver, DO's Profile

Dr. Miranda Reed Cleaver is a Georgia native and grew up in Chatsworth, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia in Athens, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006. After college, she continued her education and attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus in Suwanee, Georgia. She graduated with her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010. Dr. Reed Cleaver then completed her four years of residency training in Anesthesiology and two years of fellowship training in Pain Management at McLaren Oakland Hospital, which is part of the Michigan State University Statewide Campus System in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Reed Cleaver is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology. She can perform numerous interventional procedures in all areas of pain management. Dr. Reed Cleaver is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Reed Cleaver practiced for two years in Missouri before moving to Georgia to establish a pain management practice in Cumming, Georgia, known as the Cleaver Medical Group – Center for Interventional Pain Management. She also works for the Concordia Anesthesia Group. 

Dr. Reed Cleaver’s professional interests include lumbar and cervical pain, particularly conditions caused by damaged spinal discs. She specializes in complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), thoracic pain, knee and shoulder pain, osteoarthritis, and spinal cord stimulation. Reed Cleaver is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiology, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management. 

Always a Bulldog at heart, her hobbies include spending time with her family and cheering on the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
