Dr. Melissa Hager specializes in Rheumatology and is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She works as a Rheumatologist at BJC Medical Group in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, now known as Kansas City University, in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Hager completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital St. Louis and her fellowship in Rheumatology at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Hager was named a Castle Connolly Top Doctors Rising Star in 2021 and 2022. In 2018 she was named the Outstanding Resident PGY-3. She is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Hager is a native of St. Louis and enjoys all sporting events, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. She loves parks, eating out at restaurants, watching live theatre at The Fabulous Fox, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
