• Learners will become familiar with digital health technologies and their applications in improving medication safety, including the effective use of electronic health records and clinical decision support systems.
• Learners will recognize common adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and understand the importance of monitoring, reporting, and managing these events to enhance patient safety.
• Learners will explore the principles of antimicrobial stewardship and identify strategies to optimize antibiotic prescribing while reducing the risk of antibiotic resistance.
• Learners will develop skills for effectively managing polypharmacy, including strategies for medication reconciliation and deprescribing in patients with multiple medications.

AOA Grievance Policy:
