• Learners will be able to describe the current screening guidelines for breast cancer treatment and explain the role of advanced diagnostic tools, such as 3D mammography and MRI, in enhancing early detection, identification, and extent of disease.
• Learners will gain knowledge about the latest treatment modalities for breast cancer, including targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and hormonal treatments, and understand the indications for their use based on specific patient profiles.
• Learners will be able to explain the significance of genomic testing in breast cancer management and how to interpret the results to inform personalized treatment strategies for patients.
• Learners will appreciate the value of a multidisciplinary approach in breast cancer treatment and will be able to identify the roles of the various healthcare professionals in optimizing patient outcomes.
