Learning Objectives:
1) Learners will gain familiarity with the latest evidence-based guidelines for managing common pediatric illnesses, including updated treatment protocols, diagnostic criteria, and follow-up care recommendations.
2) Learners will understand the importance of preventive measures, such as immunizations and education on hygiene practices, in reducing the incidence of these common pediatric conditions.
3) Learners will learn to identify potential complications associated with each of the common pediatric illnesses covered, as well as establish clear criteria for referrals to specialists when necessary.
4) Learners will be able to recognize the common signs and symptoms associated with ear infections, colds, allergies, strep throat, and pink eye, enabling accurate diagnosis. 5) Learners will develop effective strategies for communicating with patients and their caregivers about these illnesses, including explaining the nature of the illness, management options, and preventive measures.

AOA Grievance Policy:
All grievances should be in writing and specify the nature of the grievance. All grievances will receive an initial written response within 30 days of receipt.
