Learning Objectives:
1) Learners will develop skills and procedures to evaluate the risks associated with polypharmacy in psychiatric treatment, including the identification of potential drug interactions and strategies for safe medication management, including deprescribing when appropriate.
2) Learners will understand the role of non-pharmacological interventions, such as psychotherapy.
3) Learners will recognize and summarize recent breakthroughs in psychopharmacology, including newly approved medications and emerging treatment modalities relevant to various psychiatric disorders.
4) Learners will understand the use of Collaborative Care.
5) Learners will gain the skills to apply pharmacogenomic testing results in practice, so as to personalize medication choices based on individual patient genetic profiles to optimize treatment efficacy and minimize adverse effects.
6) Learners will create evidence-based management strategies for patients with treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders, incorporating both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

AOA Grievance Policy:
All grievances should be in writing and specify the nature of the grievance.
