A resolution is a formal statement or proposal that outlines a position or action on a specific issue. Resolutions are used to advocate for change, establish policies for an organization, or direct future actions. Most importantly, resolutions give individuals a voice! In this webinar, we review the definition and purpose of a resolution, highlight key features that comprise a resolution, discuss tips for writing, and create a resolution together with a practice scenario.

Justin Hajicek

Justin Hajicek, DO, is originally from Columbia, Missouri, and graduated from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2025. He will undergo residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with a preliminary year in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Within MAOPS, he was a Wetzel Scholar for 3 years, attended the AOA House of Delegates, served on the Legislative & Regulatory Committee, and wrote a resolution that was adopted into MAOPS policy in 2023. 

Mr. Hajicek discloses he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing healthcare goods or services consumed by or used on patients relative to the content of this presentation.
